For the purposes of UK GDPR, DuePings is the data controller for personal data you provide.

By using DuePings you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

The service. DuePings is a free payment tracking and reminder tool. We provide it on an "as is" basis and do not guarantee that reminders will always be delivered on time or that the service will be available without interruption.

Your account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must not share your account or use the service for any unlawful purpose.

Your data. You retain ownership of all data you enter into DuePings. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Acceptable use. You must not attempt to disrupt the service, reverse-engineer the software, or use automated tools to scrape or overload the platform.

Limitation of liability. DuePings is provided for informational purposes. We are not a financial adviser. We are not liable for missed payments, incorrect reminder timing, or any financial loss arising from use of the service.

Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Service changes and closure. We may change, suspend, or discontinue DuePings at any time. If we decide to close the service permanently, we’ll give registered users at least 30 days’ notice by email and the opportunity to export their data before closure.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be dealt with by the courts of England and Wales.

What we collect. When you create an account we store your name, email address, and the payment data you enter (names, amounts, due dates, categories, and notes). We also collect basic usage analytics to improve the service.

How we use it. Your data is used solely to provide the DuePings service — displaying your payments, sending reminders, and generating your personal dashboard. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised.

Storage and security. Your data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United Kingdom (eu-west-2). Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Authentication is handled by AWS Cognito.

Third parties. We do not sell your personal data. We use the following third-party services:

• •AWS — hosting, database, authentication, and email delivery
• •Google Analytics — anonymised usage analytics

Your rights. You can export or delete your data at any time by contacting us. Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, or erase your personal data.

Data retention. If you delete your account, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.

DuePings uses a minimal number of cookies to operate:

• •Authentication cookies — required to keep you signed in. These are essential and cannot be disabled.
• •Preference cookies — store your theme preference (light/dark mode).
• •Analytics cookies — Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymised usage data. No personally identifiable information is sent.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
